Power CD+G to AVI Ripper Tutorial
Converting straight from CD+G disc
To convert CD+G disc directly to AVI videos:
- Select CD+G disc in Input section of Power CD+G to AVI Ripper window.
- Insert CD+G disc into your CD or DVD drive on your PC. If you have more than one drive make sure that Device points to the proper one.
- Click Refresh. You should see the list of tracks. If you have enabled FreeDB lookup and the CD was listed there, you will see the names of the songs.
- Select the tracks you want to convert.
- Select the proper output folder using [...] button (you may create new CDGDIVX folder on your hard disc and select it here).
- You may enable automatic file numbering by selecting Add file number starting with checkbox.
- If necessary adjuct audio and video compression options. By default these settings are set to XviD video and 160 kbps MP3 audio.
- Click Convert.
Each file should take approximately one minute to encode, depending on your system. The final files should each have an AVI extension
and each file should be at least 10MB or less.
Converting files from hard disc
To convert files from hard disc to AVI videos:
- Select Files from hard disc in Input section of Power CD+G to AVI Ripper window.
- Click Add and select the BIN or CDG files you would like to convert from the appropriate folder. Click Open.

- Select the proper output folder using [...] button (you may create new CDGDIVX folder on your hard disc and select it here).
- If necessary adjuct audio and video compression options. By default these settings are set to XviD video and 160 kbps MP3 audio.
- Click Convert.
